Since starting my term in January 2023, we have accomplished a lot. Here is a list of the initiatives that I have either led or supported during my tenure.
- May 2023 – Authored and Unanimously Passed GRPS “Safe Gun Storage” Resolution
- July 2023 – Approved Reimagine GRPS With Us! Plan
- November 2023 – Worked to Pass GRPS Bond Initiative
- March 2024 – Advocated for “New Aberdeen” Development in NE Grand Rapids
- January 2025 – Authored “Sanctuary Policy” Resolution
- July 2025 – Approved Policy Updates to Protect Immigrant Community
- February 2026 – Appointed Trustee VanDyke to GRPS Board of Education
