For the past four years, I have had the privilege of serving the GRPS Community as a Board Member, challenging each and every one of us to dream bigger and act more boldly. My first campaign, in 2022, was centered around "Reimagining Education". Since that time, I have listened, I have learned, I have grown. And I can safely say that I am ready to take on the big challenges that lie ahead.
From resizing our district, to supporting our Special Education programs, to ensuring that our Black and brown students continue to feel supported academically and socially, my commitment to this work goes beyond a title. My commitment to educational justice is lifelong. So whether I am a board member or a community member, whether I am in front of a crowd of five or five hundred, I will continue to boldly fight for our children.
But this work is bigger than just me. This work takes all of us. Together, we can ensure that EVERY child, EVERY family feels valued, honored, and supported in this work.
